Talented artist Ben Nsusha’s exhibition “Thunga uThimule” at Museum Africa in Newtown, Johannesburg, showcases over 100 original art pieces until December 24. The concept, derived from Zulu traditions, symbolizes the act of passing traditional beer in a circle and the response to a query by a Sangoma’s sneeze.
Nsusha, with a rich history in printmaking, ceramics, and painting, draws inspiration from his family and surroundings for his artwork. His upcoming projects aim to explore themes of society and observation, combining various disciplines into cohesive themes.
Reflecting on his 40-year career, Nsusha emphasizes the importance of family support and his passion for art. Contact him at [email protected].
